Before booking
Know what to expect before you call
Roof problems can be stressful, especially when water is already getting in. These answers help visitors take the right next step.
Water coming in now?
Call or WhatsApp. Do not wait for a form if the leak is active.
Can you repair a roof instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. If the problem is localised to tiles, slates, flashing, ridges, valleys or guttering, a targeted repair may be enough. A roof check confirms the best route.
Can you tell if I need a repair or a new roof from photos?
Sometimes the photos show a clear local issue. Sometimes they only show that a site visit is needed. Either way, you get a better starting point than guessing.
Do I need to climb on the roof?
No. Only send safe photos from ground level, a window, inside the loft or the internal damp area. Do not climb onto the roof.
What photos should I send?
Send the outside roof area if visible, any missing tile or gutter issue, the internal damp patch, and one wider photo showing where the problem sits on the property.
How quickly should I act if water is coming in?
Act the same day. Move belongings away from the leak if safe, catch dripping water if you can, then call or WhatsApp for urgent advice.
Can you quote from photos alone?
For small, clear problems, photos may be enough for initial guidance. For anything structural, hidden or weather-dependent, a visit is usually needed before a reliable price.
Do you work on flat roofs, gutters, roofline and pergolas?
Yes. The service covers flat roofs, gutters, fascias, soffits, pergolas, leadwork, chimneys, dry ridge, dry verge, moss removal and roof repairs.
What should I do if a storm damages my roof?
If it is unsafe or water is entering, call for urgent advice. Avoid climbing onto the roof yourself, and move belongings away from any internal leak if safe to do so.
